					<p>1 Gooi die melk in ’n groot kastrol, voeg die kaneel, steranys en kardemom by en verhit tot kookpunt.<br />
2 Sif intussen 250 ml (1 k) van die bruismeel en die sout saam in ’n mengbak. Werk die botter saggies met jou vingerpunte by die meel in.<br />
3 Hou die meelmengsel onder ’n druppende kraan en vorm groot frummels met jou vingerpunte. Moenie oorwerk nie.<br />
4 Skuif die frummels eenkant toe en vat elke keer nuwe meel van die kante van die bak tot al die meel opgebruik is.<br />
5 Meng die res van die meel (125 ml / ½ k) deur die frummels so-dat dit liggies met meel bedek is.<br />
6 Voeg die frummels en suiker by die warm melk en kook vir 5-10 min. Roer heeltyd anders brand dit vas. Sit ’n deksel op en sit vir sowat 3 uur in ’n warm oond sodat die melkkos kan verdik.<br />
8 Gooi in warmflesse en pak in vir die piekniek. Strooi die kaneel-suiker net voor opdiening oor.</p>

My ma het dit in ’n skotteltjie in die warmlaai gehou om dik en romerig te word. Dit was aandete én poeding, alles in een. Dit was allerbelangriks dat jy ’n “bootjie” (kaneelstokkie) met die skepslag moes kry. Daar was altyd minstens twee, een vir my en een vir my sussie.” Vickie de Beer</p>
<p>Genoeg vir 6 porsies</p>
<p>• 2 liter (8 k) volroommelk<br />
• 2-3 kaneelstokkies<br />
• 250 ml (1 k) + 45 ml (3 e) bruismeel<br />
• 2,5 ml (½ t) sout<br />
• 15 ml (1 e) botter</p>
<p><strong>Kaneelsuiker</strong><br />
• meng 125 ml suiker met 30 ml fyn kaneel</p>
<p>1 Gooi die melk in ’n groot kastrol, voeg die kaneel by en verhit tot kookpunt.<br />
2 Voorverhit die warmlaai van die oond of voorverhit die oond tot 60 °C.<br />
3 Sif intussen 250 ml van die bruismeel en die sout in ’n mengbak saam. Werk die botter saggies met jou vingerpunte by die meel in. Moenie oorwerk nie.<br />
4 Hou die meelmengsel onder &#8216;n druppende kraan en vorm groot frummels met jou vingerpunte. Skuif die gevormde frummels eenkant toe en vat elke keer nuwe meel van die kante van die bak tot al die meel opgebruik is.<br />
5 Skuif die gevormde frummels eenkant toe en vat elke keer nuwe meel van die kante van die bak tot dat al die meel gebruik is.<br />
6 Meng die res van die meel (45 ml) deur sodat die frummels los van mekaar en net-net met meel bedek is.<br />
7 Voeg die frummels by die warm melk en kook vir 20 min. oor lae hitte tot die melkkos begin verdik en die frummels uitswel.<br />
8 Sit ’n deksel op en sit vir 3 uur in die warmlaai van die oond sodat dit kan verdik. Sit met kaneelsuiker voor.</p>
