1 Rol 1 rol blaardeeg liggies op ’n skoon, meelbestrooide werkvlak uit.<br />
2 Verf liggies met eier, sprinkel die parmesaan oor en geur met paprika, swartpeper en sout.<br />
3 Rol die ander rol blaardeeg op die meelbestrooide werkvlak uit. Verf liggies met eier en sit op die ander vel blaardeeg. Rol weer liggies uit.<br />
4 Sny die deeg in ? netjiese reghoek. Sny in 2 cm-stroke en draai ’n paar kinkels in elke strook. Sit op die bakplaat en verf met die res van die eier, en strooi nog sout oor.<br />
5 Bak vir 8-10 min. tot goudbruin. Haal uit en laat afkoel. Sit met die lensiesop voor.</p>

					<p><strong>Gaan só te werk</strong></p>
<p>1 Maak die marinade en laat lê die hoender vir sowat 20 min. daarin.<br />
2 Kook die aartappels in die skil tot sag. Meng die slaaisous en roomsous en hou eenkant.<br />
3 Kook die mielies. Sit water op vir die groenboontjies en braai die tamaties.<br />
4 Skil die aartappels terwyl hulle nog warm is en sny in stukke, meng die slaaisous deur. Kook die boontjies vir ’n paar minute en dreineer. 5 Sit die hoenderstukke op die kole of rooster vir sowat 40 min. in die oond.<br />
6 Dreineer die mielies en rooster ook vinnig oor die kole sodat hulle warm bly.<br />
7 Meng die roomsous deur die aartappelslaai en meng die boontjieslaai.<br />
8 Haal die hoender en mielies van die kole af en rol die mielies in die botter en parmesaan.<br />
9 Sit voor met die hoender, aartappelslaai en boontjieslaai.</p>

<p><strong>Marinade</strong></p>
<p>6 dytjies en 6 boudjies<br />
sout en gemaalde swartpeper</p>
<p>Maak vuur as jy gaan braai, of voorverhit die oond tot 220 °C as jy die hoender in die oond gaan rooster.<br />
1 Marinade: Meng die kruisement, jogurt, suurlemoenskil, knoffel, heuning, koljander, komyn en cayennepeper. Marineer die hoender vir 20 min. hierin.<br />
2 Vee die meeste van die marinade af voor jy die hoenderstukke braai of in ’n oondpan sit vir oondrooster. Geur met sout en peper. Rooster vir sowat 40 min.<br />
3 Sit voor met aartappel-en-kruie-slaai, Franse boontjies en knoffel-en-parmesaan-mielies.</p>
<p><strong>Nog idees</strong><br />
- Gebruik suurroom of karringmelk as jy nie jogurt het nie.<br />
- Vervang die kruisement deur vars koljander of basiliekruid vir ’n lekker smaakvariasie.</p>
<p><strong>Franse boontjies met dennepitte</strong></p>
<p>1 Kook die boontjies vir ’n paar minute in gesoute kookwater. Dreineer.<br />
2 Verhit die olie in ’n groot braaipan oor matige hitte en braai die tamaties tot hulle begin oopbars. Voeg die dennepitte by en braai vir nog 1–2 min.<br />
3 Meng die tamaties en dennepitte deur die boontjies en voeg die rooi uie by. Sprinkel olyf-olie en balsemiekasyn oor. Geur na smaak en sit voor met roketblare bo-op.</p>
<p><strong>Nog idees</strong><br />
- Vervang die dennepitte deur sonneblomsade vir ’n goedkoper opsie.<br />
- Aspersies, in die plek van groenboontjies, is net so lekker in die slaai.</p>
<p><strong>Aartappel-en-kruie-slaai</strong></p>
<p><strong>Roomsous</strong><br />
250 ml (1 k) goeie mayonnaise<br />
250 ml (1 k) crème frâiche<br />
250 ml (1 k) Bulgaarse jogurt</p>
<p>1 Slaaisous: Meng die knoffel, pietersielie, sprietuie, olie, asyn en mosterd in ’n voedselverwerker. Geur na smaak.<br />
2 Kook die aartappels in gesoute kookwater tot gaar. Dreineer, trek die skille af en sny in 3-4 cm-stukke. Gooi die slaaisous oor die warm aartappels. Laat staan ’n rukkie sodat dit kan intrek.<br />
3 Meng die sprietuie, kruie, mayonnaise, crème frâiche en jogurt en meng deur die aartappels. Sit by kamertemperatuur voor.</p>
<p><strong>Knoffel-en-parmesaan-mielies</strong></p>
<p>1 Kook die mielies vir 10 min. in gesoute water tot gaar.<br />
2 Meng die botter en knoffel. Smeer die mielies met die botter en rol dan in die gerasperde parmesaan.</p>
<p><strong>Nog idees </strong><br />
- Probeer ander geurkombinasies: Vir kinders: Vervang die parmesaan deur cheddarkaas.<br />
- Laat die parmesaan weg en voeg 1 t gekapte brandrissies by die botter.<br />
- 1 t gerookte Spaanse paprika, gemeng met die brandrissie, is net so heerlik in die botter.</p>
