<p>1 Vries die waatlemoen oornag in ’n metaalbak.<br />
2 Verwerk die bevrore waatlemoen, lemmetjiesap en mentblare in ’n voedselverwerker tot die mengsel ’n growwe, granitatekstuur het. Gooi in ’n plastiekbak wat dig sluit en sit terug in die vrieskas.</p>
<p>Stroop<br />
3 Verhit die water, suiker, kruie en lemmetjiesap vir sowat 7-9 min. oor lae hitte tot die suiker gesmelt is en die stroop effens verdik het. Die stroop moenie borrel en taai raak nie.<br />
4 Trek van die hitte af en laat effens afkoel.<br />
5 Gooi die stroop in ’n glas- of plastiekmaatbeker en verwerk tot glad met ’n stokmenger, of in ’n voedselverwerker.<br />
6 Skep met ’n balletjielepel balletjies uit die spanspekke en waatlemoen en pak op mooi opdienbordjies of bakkies uit. Sprinkel die stroop oor die spanspek.<br />
7 Haal die granita net voor opdiening uit en sit saam met die vrugte in die stroop voor.</p>
